7er Construction has been named a 2026 Healthiest Employers of Nebraska winner in the 2-99 employee category, recognizing our commitment to employee well-being and creating a workplace where our people are supported on and off the job.

For us, taking care of our people goes beyond traditional benefits. Through 7er Strong, our internal wellness program, we focus on physical, mental and emotional, financial, social, and community well-being.

The program was built around feedback from our own team and includes wellness challenges, mental health resources, financial education, team activities, and community involvement. That commitment also shows up in how we work every day through flexibility, parental leave, professional development, mentorship, and opportunities for our team to connect and grow.

In an industry where physical and mental safety both matter, we’ve also continued to strengthen partnerships that support our people, including ongoing safety training and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Hard Hat Courage initiative.

As Senior Project Manager Shane Carl shared:

“We talk a lot about building trust, and that starts with how we treat our own people. I’m proud of our well-being program because it’s one more way we invest in our team and show them they’re valued. When you take care of your people, they’ll take care of your clients.”

We’re proud to receive this recognition, but even more proud of the culture behind it. Building a strong company starts with taking care of those who help build it.
