7er Construction was founded in 2022 with a simple goal: to build projects the way they should be done.
After years of working with larger general contractors, our founder, Jason Sevener, saw the same patterns over and over — layers of red tape, ball-and-switch project teams and communication that broke down once a project was underway. It wasn’t how he believed construction should work.
He built a company focused on quality construction, working with people the right way, and staying closely connected to every project, no matter the size.

From the beginning, 7er Construction was built to be a place where people do work first-rate. That means creating an environment where each team member feels supported, respected, and part of building something. It’s a collaborative culture where your input is encouraged, no matter how long you’ve been here.
We believe in direct communication. There’s no room for politics. When the answer is no, it gets a real, grounded explanation. Communication is stronger, challenges get addressed faster, and the result is better for everyone involved.
Our goal in construction is to make a positive impact on the client, builder, and building for 7 or more generations.
With 7er Construction, you’re working directly with the people doing the work. There’s a clear line between project managers, the field, and the owner so you always know who’s accountable and how each piece fits together.
We focus on clear, consistent communication and direct responses. You won’t be left wondering where things stand or who to call — we make sure of that.
Be it a little or a lot, it doesn’t change how we work.
We’ve built our reputation on projects that still deserve a close eye, even when they’re smaller. Those projects are often approached with the same level of consideration, and we approach them the same way.
If you truly place value on construction done to the finish, it doesn’t matter the scope and we’ll trust that. That doesn’t change based on size.
We’re committed to showing up in the communities we build in.
That includes supporting organizations like Boys Town, Memorial, CHI Health Foundation, Westside Community Schools and the American Heart Association through golf outings, galas, and community events.
We also take part in hands-on efforts like the Keep Westside Beautiful community clean-up, giving our team the opportunity to contribute to the spaces we care about and work in.
For us, building trust doesn’t stop at our clients. It’s built through how we show up for our community.
