Omaha Public Schools Lewis & Clark Middle School ACP Suite Improvements

With a strong focus on updating key spaces to better serve students with special needs, 7er Construction completed an interior renovation at Omaha Public School’s Lewis and Clark Middle School. The project began with demolition, followed by upgrades to plumbing and electrical systems to support new fixtures and finishes. Our team installed new drywall and tile in updated restroom areas, along with new plumbing fixtures to improve function and accessibility. Kitchen plumbing fixtures were added to create dedicated space for students to learn essential life skills such as cooking and meal preparation. Additional improvements included new flooring and roller shades throughout. A key component of the renovation was the creation of calming rooms, which are spaces designed to provide sensory regulation and emotional support when students need a quiet, safe environment to regroup. The project concluded with the installation of new doors and hardware to improve security and design consistency throughout the space. The result is an environment that supports both life skills development and the unique learning needs of students across the school community.
