Harvey Oaks Elementary School Interior Renovation

Omaha, Nebraska

Building Brighter Spaces for Young Minds to Learn and Play

Harvey Oaks Elementary refreshed its learning environments to better serve students across its K-5 campus. 7er Construction delivered a $549,912 renovation covering 35,000 square feet, enhancing three wings of the building. The gymnasium was transformed with new flooring and a fresh coat of paint, ready for young athletes to practice, compete and burn off energy. A former counselor’s office was renovated to become new student restrooms, requiring demolition, underground plumbing and a complete interior build-out. Throughout the classrooms, updated finishes, new casework and countertops created a brighter space. The library, art room, and corridors received fresh paint, tile and upgraded services, while outdated marker boards and tack boards were replaced throughout the school. To main quality and efficiency, our team self-performed key scopes including framing, drywall, doors and hardware and casework installation. In partnership with Purdy & Slack Architects, P.C., and Morrissey Engineering (MEP Engineer), we delivered a space to support student growth for years to come.
